It all unfolded over the weekend in Oakland when police say they were trying to conduct a traffic stop.

West TN officer placed on administrative leave after bloody arrest, TBI investigates
An arrest caught on camera that led to a West Tennessee police officer being put on administrative leave has sparked questions about if officers went too far.
If you don't fight, you probably won't get beat.....
ReplyDeleteYeah, because a couple of low level traffic offenses are reason to kick in a door and go in heavy. Just a pair of badge heavy snowflakes upset that their authority was challenged. Put both of them in prison for the rest of their miserable lives. They work for us. Well past time they remembered that.
DeleteI paid them to do that. Money well spent. Next time, he won't be so likely to commit a crime for fear of the beat down. Well past time the criminals remember that. See, two can play this game too.
DeleteDepends on what the meaning of "if" is. Or "alleged", for that matter.
ReplyDeleteDon’t you just love how the orcs can run in a house and beat the FUCK out of anyone? Then the fucking orcs assaulted the woman in her own home. Fucking orcs are savage animals once on the sent of pray. There is no call for this absolutely none. You know who the kid is, just wait and snatch his ass later. Orcs are out of control. To bad mom did not shoot the fuckers. Hips and lips kiddies, hips and lips. All of them need to go to jail all the orcs here need to go to jail. Stupid fools you have your cameras running!!!!
ReplyDeleteDid the kid make it worse, he most certainly did. He is a stupid black kid, of course hes gunna run from the orcs. He is Lucky he’s not shot dead, i am surprise the cops did not just shoot his ass. Had this knuckle head complied early on we would not be watching this.

Can't imagine why the police aren't trusted. I mean, they seem to be acting totally reasonable. /sarc Look, people in packs are a menace, whether they be idiot teens, frat boys, gang members, antifa, or cops. Avoid, and if avoidance isn't possible, it's time to do a cost-benefit analysis as to how much damage you can give and take. This time the pack won, in that they got to pummel a man. He will likely win in court. Was it worth it? Police officers, don't be pack animals.
ReplyDeleteHere's another case of police brutality

Come on bogside. You know they were on their way to college classes when those popo, for no reason, put the whoop ass on them right. I mean, I'd like to see a statistical analysis of the number of criminals beaten by cops that didn't have it coming. I'm pretty sure that's going to be a real short data set.
DeleteHow about dogs being shot? Bet that's a sufficient dataset!
DeleteAnyone who reads my blog knows that I am no fan of the police. I call them like I see them. In the case of this one, I don't see a problem. All he had to do was pull over and take the ticket. What do you expect the police to do? Consider your house to be some sort of "home base" where if you make it there, they can't do anything? Whether you realize this or not, a traffic offense is still an offense, and there is a penalty attached to that.
ReplyDeleteWhen you flee and refuse to stop, you elevate a minor offense into a larger crime. The fact that he was being struck no longer has anything to do with the original offense. Sorry, but this one isn't on the cops.
Agree with Divemedic. Don't run from the cops and don't try to fight them. (Circumstances may vary)
DeleteBesides the stop sign violation, speeding violation there is also evading and resisting arrest. This is the second video I have seen within a week of a young black person totally disregarded a cop. Both could have gotten a ticket but they ignored the cops and made it worse. In some jurisdictions attempting to evade or evading is a felony.
ReplyDeleteI don't know what offense was, but he was running, fighting, and just being a general asshole. As long as the cops had a legit reason to reason to be there, and he acted like that, all's fair...
ReplyDeleteThose bois will have some fun as soon as the dems get one more vote for their new assault weapon ban that supposedly includes semi-pistols , shotguns , and rifles . I saw no common sense on either side . If you enjoy beating young kids of any color you don't belong under a badge . Have they ever heard of deescalate ? Not cop material .

Aaah yes. The evil police yanked him out from a shade tree while he was drinking lemonade and reading the Bible while contemplating his moves at his impending chess match.

I'm 66 and have never had an unprofessional or even impolite encounter with police, deputy sheriff, or state trooper. Every time I was stopped and every time I was ticketed I had It coming. I had fucked up in some way and broke the law. I didn't smart mouth and threaten and I didn't get treated that way. It makes me wonder exactly why you studs have attracted negative attention from cops to color your perspective so. Frankly, I have to think you're lowlife thugs not much different from Sparky in the story above. Keep carrying that attitude and maybe Wirecutter can post a story about you one day.
ReplyDeleteI have been pulled over quite a few times in my life. Only a small number of those times were what I would have considered unjustified. In all cases, I pulled over quickly in the safest manner I could manage, made it clear by my actions I was not a threat and would unlikely to be a threat, and was calm and polite in my demeanor. Only a couple of these interactions resulted in a citation, along with a few strongly worded warnings.
ReplyDeleteMy first car I purchased from my brother, whom I will call S. One night, I got a ticket for speeding from a cop that was asking me a lot about my relationship with S. Turns out S was boinking the cop's wife and I got nailed for that reason, the car was a distinctive and rare color. S explained that and also said he had replaced the speedo pinion gear to beat a speeding ticket in the past. I replaced the gear with the proper gear, had the car calibrated at a local shop, presented the incorrect gear as evidence, had published data for the readings with different gears, and went to court to argue my case. The judge was impressed with my rigorous approach; he dismissed the ticket and retroactively reduced the former tickets to improper equipment.
Probably too many words for this story. But the perp here is, to my mind, a tad at fault. Over reacting and histrionics are going to lead to escalation. If the perp was not a convicted felon, my guess is that a polite, calm dialog about working hard as a door dash guy and being tired after a long day would have resulted in an admonition to be more careful and it would have all been over.
Watch this black blm leader shoot an unarmed white perp... oops
