That poor dog

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WREG) —  A dog doused with gasoline and set on fire in a Nutbush neighborhood is getting worldwide attention thanks to her TikTok videos and colorful bandages.

People from all over the world, including Paris Hilton, have been sharing Riona’s story. One of the dog’s first TikTok videos has already gotten nearly 3 million views.

You know that dog's in some serious pain, yet the video shows her wagging her tail while covered in bandages.
That dog's got a hell of a lot more faith in people than I do.

    2. Whoever did that needs to be thrown in a hole and buried alive. They have lost the right to being called a Human Being.

  3. My little brother was cruel like that. He was mommy and daddys favorite and they spoiled him rotten . He set an old ladies pet cat on fire and shut it up in a metal garbage can . It didn't kill it because the dummy did not realize he was cutting off the oxygen but it did blind the cat. The judge gave him 3 weeks in jail . I'm sorta glad they beat my ass every time the wind blew. .

  5. I don't have any mercy for evil fucks who do shit like this. none.
never saw a dog that didn't want to be happy, playful with most people.
but if you dog doesn't like a person, you better watch them as they know better than we do.
and there is ALWAYS a reason why the dog is reacting like he/she is to that "person"
ragheads like to torment dogs for fun. I never had any use for them.

  9. This past Saturday, the next-door neighbors had left two dogs in their garage, and they barked non-stop for over ten hours. The owners were away, and the dog sitters took the kids and left for the whole day and dogs barked constantly. I actually like most dogs.
Do any of you dog lovers have a solution for that? Oh, yeah, the dogs don't bark when they're home.
Can I tell you about the neighbor at the farm whose dogs (golden labs) got out and chased the other neighbor's cattle? Someone shot those dogs... wasn't me. A steer is worth over $1000. Vet bills after chasing his cattle through the barb wire fences????$ What would you say if I threatened your livelihood? I'm sure you would have had the law down to see me the same day.
Do you think those near-do-wells with the Labs would have paid for his vet bills? No. But they were sure sad about them labs. Wasn't the first time. I used to trap a couple quarters over and had to pull my traps one winter because they were going to get caught. So, they were becoming problem dogs, pretty or not, they were going to end up DRT. Too bad people can't take care of their animals.

    1. What in the hell does all that have to do with a dog being set on fire? Were you trying to justify it?

    2. I always kept my dogs under control. but if you try to hurt one of them, I put lead in you
without thinking. there are other ways of dealing with a untrained dog than shooting them
rabid ones are a different story as everyone knows, but otherwise,,
never met a dog I didn't like, I can't say the same about a lot of people I met over the years. if there wasn't a law against it, a lot of them would be in a ditch
      somewhere not brothering anyone anymore.

    3. Sorry Kenny, let me rephrase. I like dogs, I have family that bring their dogs over and they are welcome in my house. What I see as a problem is not enough laws and enforcement to those who do not control their animals. I worked with a guy over east of home whose little boy got his face chewed up bad by a German Shepard. The kid and the dog had played and lived next to each other for years; their kids and dog were well acquainted with each other. I'm glad the little guy didn't lose his eyesight, but that kid will be scarred up the rest of his life. The dad took time off to rush his kid in for emergency surgery.
NO. Nothing justifies torturing and abusing a dog. Those who do I would expect to turn out to be sociopaths.

  10. I wish you would stop posting these horror stories. It ruins my morning coffee and computer routine. I look down at my pit, ZsaZsa, and think, "That could be you."

  11. You should try to be kind to animals. Sometimes they cross the line and have to be dealt with, such as when the neighbor’s dogs attacked mine, in my yard I might add. My dog stays home and seldom barks except when threatened. I am thankful to have a well mannered pup.

  13. A constantly barking dog is easily quieted with a barking collar. It gives the dog a shock every time it barks. It worked great on my Doberman.
