The Victim Speaks

The latest cause celebre for leftists in Minnesota is the case of Tekle Sundberg. Sundberg tried to murder a young woman, Cassandra Yarbrough, whom he apparently did not know. Police were called, Sundberg fired repeatedly from within an apartment, there was a standoff that lasted for hours, officers tried to negotiate with Sundberg and brought in family members to try to persuade him to surrender. Under circumstances that are not yet clear, officers eventually shot and killed Sundberg. My colleague David Zimmer, a veteran of 37 years in law enforcement, has a sober and unbiased review of the facts as we know them so far.

    I wish someone could explain to me why Scandinavians have such a soft spot for sub Saharan africans. Both in the old country and here. Also, what makes Minnesota, a place with some of the coldest winters in the US, such an attraction for the aforementioned sub Saharan africans?

      Same reason Anglos, Irish, Franks, Deutsch, Aussies, Dutch, and Italians do, I guess.

      They don't get a say, and it won't stop unless it's made to stop, and peoples are hungry enough to process their own chickens and turkeys.

      I'm not quite sure why the Gundersons get so goo-goo gas-gaa over negroes, but boy do they ever, and it is a sight to behold. I think a lot of it is the Scandinavian cultural tendency to groupthink and virtue signaling.

      I was once in Minneapolis having a beer at the outside seating of a pub and some random spade rolled up and asked me for a cigarette. When I told him "Hell no" he looked genuinely confused, as if that wasn't something the script allowed. Undeterred, he ambled over to the next table to panhandle some central-casting squareheads who were eager to do anything they could for the nice black man. For the next ten minutes they cooed and gushed as he shucked and jived, and old Southern me looked on in wonder.

      I'm pretty sure that as soon as their wildlife encounter was done they called their friends to brag: "Ooh, Kirsten-- we just met a real bleack man! Oh ya, he thought we were cool!"
