I loaned my last 10mm out of 3 full sets of sockets I have. Before leaving I had to explain the extreme importance of bringing it back. He came over the next day to help me with something and forgot to bring it back...then made a special trip to my house the following day to return it.If I had kidd he would be their godfather
I had several 10mm's from end wrenches to flex joints because of the sports cars I had in the '60's and 70's. Of them all, the 10mm was the only one that some American wrench wouldn't fit close enough. I didn't lose any until I got to fooling with the EGR valve on the '97 S-10 four cylinder I had. Somewhere there is an S-10 with a bunch of 10mm's in the pan under the engine. Including a couple of flex joints.
I was walking along the road here in my hometown the other day. Something shiney on the ground caught my attention. Lo and behold, it was a 10 mm socket.

A 10mm? That's gotta be close 40 Snap-On dollars.
ReplyDeleteBought six 10mm a few months ago to replace all of the missing ones. Have only lost one of the new ones, so far.
