Better to find out sooner than later, right?

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – It’s a woman’s worst nightmare that left one person out of nearly a thousand dollars. Meghan Dubuke sat down with News 2 after she says she met someone through a dating app. However, a quick lie turned into a theft.

“Go with your gut, go with your gut every time, every time, because every time I don’t, stuff happens,” said Dubuke.

It all started with a dating app. Dubuke, like most who go online, was looking for someone nice and good-looking to go out with. One profile stood out.

  1. "... because every time I don’t...". There's your problem, Sis. The pure definition of insanity.

  2. I feel sorry for her, but after seeing the video I sort of get that she might be a little, um, desperate to hook a guy. I was in the same situation when I was 20. I was blessed -- very blessed -- to find a girl that didn't turn out to be some sort of sociopathic predator. My wife asked me the other day what I'd do if she died first. I laughed a little and told her "probably go on a number of one-date things, that would last until the woman wanted to click a picture of her food, or 'snap a selfie.'" And that would be the end of that. Stories like this tell me that would be the wrong idea... I'm raising 4 kids, I've been married over 23 years now. If my wife went before me, there is NO WAY IN HELL I'd head back into the dating scene. How likely is it that I would not meet some crazy lady that would get married just to divorce me a year later with 1/2 my money. That inheritance from my dad is for my kids.

  3. "I had the strongest connection with him." She probably believes the MSM word for word too.

  5. From the press-release:
    * "...police have not said they are looking to find him. However, the department says they do have the report and plan to follow up."
    Reassuring.
Especially the part about 'looking to find him' [my fingers nearly broke typing that].
