Commentary: We Lost Trust in the Expert Class

For years, European policy makers had assured the world that the relatively rapid “transition” to “green” energy was the world’s preordained future—regardless of the costs.

Accordingly, many European Union governments followed the advice of green experts. They eagerly shut down coal, natural gas, and nuclear power plants to transition immediately to “renewable energy.”

Most citizens were afraid to object that in cloudy, cold Germany solar panels were not viable methods of electrical generation—especially in comparison to the country’s vast coal deposits and its large, model nuclear power industry.

  2. There are a few things at play. Do I trust their capability? Do I trust their intentions?

I lost faith in the experts ability in college. I saw too many professors in technical fields that fundamentally didn't know what they were doing. (Looking at you Dr. O)

I'm not sure I ever had faith in their intentions.

  3. Sri Lanka is a victim of the ESG movement in international banking. The .gov there needed loans to deal with some short term funding issues. The World Bank coerced the Sri Lankan .gov into passing laws banning chemical fertilizer and oil/nat. gas to power their economy. The starvation and lack of fuel that resulted led to the downfall of Sri Lanka's .gov and rightly so. The Sri Lankans are disarmed, but overthrew .gov anyway with minimal bloodshed.

The same plan is in effect here in the USA. With the mounting lawlessness of our Federal Gov., which will become more apparent as the weeks roll by, the predicted famine and the current price of power and gasoline, I'm thinking that come mid-winter there's going to be some serious repercussions for what's been going on these last 18 months and yesterday.

sadly the politicians who caused all their problems... were last seen dragging huge wheeled suitcases onboard their escape vessel, probably filled with the same greenbacks the "refugees" (read wives, girlfriends and mistress's of the "party leaders"), are fleeing Ukraine with inside large, wheeled suitcases.

  5. Bunch of stupid Fuckin morons, let's get rid of all the energy we need so it will cost us 10x the price to switch to a relatively new technology.
You will never get away from oil, you need it for all the manufacturing processes.
Why isn't oil considered green? It comes from Mother earth, it's not pollution , except for some people's handling of by-products.
