      Some states it is illegal to tint your windows too dark.

      In California, it is illegal to tint your front seat driver's and passenger windows at all.

      I saw it being enforced all the time when I was there. All. The. Time.
      They'd even advertise it in the paper - "Next week we will be targeting and ticketing drivers with illegally tinted windows."
