Starker here, Why don't they state where the story is from at the beginning anymore? In this case a Tennessee station is sharing a Rhode Island story. It starts by naming Easton. There are 30 of them in the US. Providence, okay, only one city, but there are more than 10 townships with 4 in PA alone. I'm tired of starting a story then having to do a web search to find out where it happened. To be clear I am not blaming Wirecutter, I blame modern newsies.
I hit The TN Star, 3 California stations, 3 TN stations, 1 Kentucky station, 1 Oklahoma station, 1 Houston station and 3 Florida stations every morning looking for news stories. You would be surprised at how many times I see the exact same fucking story in the exact same fucking words on every one of those except for the TN Star. I could understand it if it was a national story, but we're talking local news here - such as the story above.
