For those too young to remember, it was thirty years ago this month that the DOJ entrapped Randy Weaver for his Christian beliefs, issued a death warrant, killed his dog, son, and wife, and shot Weaver and his friend.
Surely, the DOJ doesn’t just execute innocent people. Yet, as we learned at trial:

"I wanted reassurance that I would get a fair trial.”
ReplyDeleteThank goodness we have the January Six trials these days to determine innocence.
Yeah, no shit.....
Deletenever forget what they did at Ruby Ridge. But not enough know of the incident before that with Gordon Kahl. Just as serious to where we are today.

Does not justice weep in this fallen country ? I pray for judgement to fall upon this wicked government and on those that support it . May the Statue of Liberty be melted into a pool of glass along with all of DC .
ReplyDeleteNever talk to the police.

While the above is generally good advice, Mas Ayoob suggests a modification - Talk to the police when they arrive at a shooting scene to the extent of pointing out evidence (shell casings, etc) and witnesses, before they disappear, and giving a condensed statement as to what happened.
Ayoob outed himself as a copsucker supreme years ago. Fuck him.
DeleteI do not believe Ayoob can be trusted on his advice about speaking to the police.
DeleteNo reputable defense lawyer will advise a client to say anything to the police, and certainly not to give them a "condensed statement" of what happened. There are too many ways for a defendant to say something that will get him arrested and it is impossible for an inexperienced person to know what those ways may be.
The police are on-scene to collect evidence so they can arrest somebody. That is all.
Most of what we "know" about the law is wrong. It is best to remain silent and minimize interactions with police as much as possible.
a)
DeleteGo to the hospital.
That traumatic situation put your health at risk.
Only doctors can determine if you are well enough to go home.
.
b)
Write your memory of the event, including your time under doctors' care.
Share the written information with your attorney.
A verbal statement is hearsay, and is easily misunderstood... sometimes intentionally.
all the govmnt players then are still around today.
ReplyDeleteRuby Ridge and Waco were the one-two punch that to my young, naive admirer of the Fibbies self on the road to waking up. Over time, I began learning their history. Combined with their bad actions in the internet age, I agree with many others: It, along with other againcies, needs to be dismantled, and the legit functions spread about.
ReplyDeleteAnyone happen to remember the name of the guy that mounted a crusade to grant immunity to the FBI snipers from Ruby Ridge? https://www.theamericanconservative.com/william-barrs-connection-to-ruby-ridge-defending-fbi-snipers/

The lesson I took away is don’t let any asshole (even relatives) pressure you into doing something illegal for them. Doing it for yourself is different.

Never forget this name: Lon Horiuchi. This is the .gov stalwart that killed Vicki in cold blood with her baby in her arms. He got away with it, but he and .gov is so proud of what he did that .gov put him witless(sp intentional) protection, changing his name and appearance to save him from retribution. I'd bet dollars to donuts that Horiuchi doesn't even reside in this country any longer.
ReplyDeleteA bit after Ruby Ridge I read an interview with one of the HRT snipers. He said that they all knew it was an illegal order. He said, “ For God’s sake we rescue people”. That guy mentioned above (piss on him and his name forever) was the only one to fire.
