When it's not the kids in the short bus that are coming apart
Video shows students on board a school bus in Jacksonville, Florida, watching as the wheel falls off and rolls beside them on a highway.
Aside from the footage itself, what might be even more shocking is that it isn't the first time it happened this week, on this route, to the same driver, even after the buses were swapped out.
We had a fleet mechanic like that once. Tires flew off trailers routinely... They finaly got shed of him when a battery on a unit he "serviced" every month failed, and he couldn't find it to replace it.
If I were the driver, I'd walk around the bus with a tire tool. If I found a loose lug nut, I'd take that tire tool and fix the the person who released the bus for use.
The wheels on the bus go round and round.

ReplyDeleteSabotage? Someone got a beef with the driver? Student maybe?
