Commentary: Don’t Tolerate People Who Hate You

When is the last time you went to an independent coffee shop? Not a coffee shop run by a church or a charity that does positive things for a community – I mean, a grungy, hipster coffee shop run by Gen Z-ers who dress like they rolled out of a bed in the late ’70s and who believe their knowledge of roasting beans has greater value than rocket science.

These types of places hold a special place in my heart – not because I love to sit on old couches that would illuminate like the brightest moon on the darkest night if put under a black light – but because they remind me of who we’re up against in the ongoing culture war.

  1. Our daughter has moved to Huntsville Al, and attends UAH. She was raise conservative, in less than 2 years she now has a nose ring, wants tattoos and supports the lbezbogaybo people and black lies people too. About a month ago she stopped communicating with us. Boy that hurts, especially my wife. So she’s grown up, today she’ll receive her tag and no more support from us. We still love her, but we have to let her grow up. I sure mis my little girl.

    1. Ditto - our formerly sweet daughter (step or bonus daughter to me) is tatted up incl nose ring. Never will understand why these they feel the need to alter their appearance - some before and after shots are heartbreaking, especially the girls....

Bottom line, my step daughter is now on Wellbutrin bc she is barely able to function - we had to remove the 4 cats bc her apt was utter disgusting. She is doing better, we believe she is on the right road to mental health but I keep praying - tenuous at best. Time will tell.

Love her but refuse to support the insanity - the bride had been but after 2 years woke up to the disaster she was enabling. Son is in AF, doing great so.... you never know.

Stay strong, keep loving her - and like you're doing, don't enable the stupid. Praying they all grow out of this...

      God bless,

      ch

  3. Good article. But, I thought everyone (normal) was already of this opinion. They (the gloriously unique, exactly alike tards) are piteous and laughable. They have no more bearing on my life than a dumpster fire to be walked around.

    1. Agreed. Nobody other than a researcher would willingly enter a mental hospital and subject themselves to such assholery and filth. And luckily, they leave us alone - when's the last time you saw one in a Harley shop or biker bar?

  4. I hope the tip was minimal.

There's a coffee drive through near where I live and I frequently p/u some expresso for my gal. The owner hires young, buxom girls. Me? I enjoy some Mexican instant, one cup in the morning.

  5. They are literally building a brand new Starbucks at the other end of my dead end street, so now I have to deal with their traffic as well as their politics.

  6. Thats it, reclaim your confidence, no wonder conservatives are losers, and losing every battle on every front, cucks. So are those with white european heritages, cucks! We should have been stomping mudholes in these commies thirty years ago when they were only douchebag, smelly hippies, now they are uber-communist, violent, raging gargoyles with victimhood, snark, righteous and control at their wings. We are losing and this passes for a pep talk. Ill be over here doing my thing until men wake up. Im getting bored with having to repeat myself.

    1. So what exactly is 'your thing', Cuck? Sitting in Mommy's basement and writing snarky comments, Cuck?
Fuck you and your pep talk. Cheerleaders didn't do a fucking thing for me when I was a kid in school, they damned sure don't impress me now.

    2. Hey, Anon-
How many uber-communists have you personally stomped into mudholes?

  7. It's a colossal error to think that the weirdos with colorful hair in grungy coffeeshops are the people that you're up against in the culture war. They're nothing but dopes who go along with whatever they see on netflix. At worst, they might vote, and we all know how much that's worth. The people that you will find yourself up against when you actually engage in political struggle are the people that run the media corporations, universities, banks and financial institutions, and that donate to both political parties. Not dumb kids who go along with the current thing, as cathartic as it might be to make fun of their piercings and goofy mannerisms.

    1. Exactly. If only more people understood and internalized this.

  8. I used to walk a couple miles everyday to an Indy coffee place, have a cup, read a little and then walk home. It was all about the walking. It died during the virus. Back in Berkeley I did the same to the Expresso Roma at Monterrey and Hopkins. It was all about the bike ride from my place in Emeryville. I miss the patio coffee shops of my days in Cali. Ohio just doesn’t have anything close.

  9. When I was a kid I was taught tolerance right along with freedom in this way, “Hey Dad! Look at that funny looking guy walking down the street.”, my Dad, “What the F you care about how that guy is dressed, this is America he can dress how he wants . Now go cut the lawn!”

  10. I cannot recall ever spending much time in a coffee shop. Why would I give a shit what anybody that I do not know and trust thinks? I read what appear to me as rational thinkers, but I take everything I hear with a grain of salt and apply filters to any words coming out of anyone's mouth (or written articles). If you screw me over or become strident and irrational, I walk away and will avoid you in the future; if driven to stay in an enclosed space with you, then I will be polite but uncordial. It does not take long for even the worst narcissistic asshole to get the message.

I have had the good fortune to be able to retreat from the hustle and bustle and isolate myself from the braying masses. I don't know how long that will last, but I am going to ride it as long as I can. As Ol' Remus was fond of saying: Avoid crowds. He penned a relatively long article on race relations that is as succinct and incisive a statement as I have ever read; I squirreled it away and revisit it occasionally, as I do with Kipling's Saxon poem.
