Getting a little taste of the Southwest and it's now a public emergency?

WASHINGTON (FOX 5 DC) - D.C. is declaring a public emergency and creating a new office to provide services for migrants being bused into the District from border states such as Texas, Mayor Muriel Bowser announced Thursday. 

Texas and Arizona have reported that approximately 9,400 people have been bused to D.C. since April. Both states have pledged to continue – and expand – busing operations indefinitely.

    How is shipping the criminals around the country any better than shipping their asses back across the border? Biding my time til this criminal gov't collapses under it's own weight.

      Per U.S. Constitution, crossing international borders is federal jurisdiction.

      Sending them across state border is state matter. A state cannot prohibit or act to prevent.

    So the border states deal with this daily and it’s not an emergency?
    But when the Democratic stronghold has to deal with it, it is? Hypocritical politicians doing there best to be hypocrites!

    I agree with Ghostsniper. The best thing to do would be to ship them right back across the border. But can a state government do that? I'm not sure, but shipping them up to those blue "sanctuary" cities is the second best thing as far as I'm concerned. And I am having a major "schadenboner" hearing the mayors of those cities bitch and moan about it.

    Sanctuary cities should be for legal citizens, not illegal aliens.
    If you are a citizen and break the law, you go to jail. If you are an illegal alien, get out of jail free...how fucked up is that?

    We keep the buses rolling and one day soon Hispanics will out number the blacks. Hispanics will control the city council and also be the mayor. A major improvement to the DC government.

      About 5 yrs ago I did a bit of research and figured the illegals out numbered the blacks. I figure there are 55 - 60 million illegals, not counting 2021 or 2022.

      The black population has benn consistenly ckose to 13 percent (+/- 0.02) year after year.

    As for me, not only would I ship them to places like Martha's Vineyard, Seattle and Portland, I would give each one an illegal pistol and a $50 Starbuck's Card.
