  1. you know I think it was after our older dog passed on that the younger one started going downhill. he lasted a little more than a year after her. she was a pit mix and all sweetheart
he was a big ass roadie ridgeback with a big soft spot for kids. even kids he didn't know
she was 13 and he passed at 11. we miss them both very much everyday.
so when I hear of some asshole being mean to a dog or dogs, there not much I wouldn't do to them. we got another one now as the empty house was killing us.

    1. I volunteer for a Lab Rescue. Our outfit has saved hundreds of them over the years.

  2. Had a bunch of Labs. That black one could be my Maggie Mae. A very special breed.

  3. i always find it interesting how people are "breed biased/loyal". mine have always been chesapeake bay retrievers. but all dogs are great.

  4. It looks like the tan one is howling and has been crying as evidenced by the running mascara...:)

  5. I've always lived in the country. I've had up to three dogs at one time. I've had a Dalmation, a Flatcoat retriever and more mixed pups than I can count. My daughter and I were always going to the SPCA and getting a dog close to being put down. The ones nobody wanted. Today I get Labs. But over the years I've had a passel of all breeds. Loved every one of em.

  6. Labradors: the most intelligent dog there is; also the most human souled.
