I'd be drunk too if I had to deal with the little miscreants all day
A 44-year-old teacher in Thermal was arrested Monday after the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department found him to be under the influence of alcohol while instructing students, officials said.
Brian Nichols, who lives in Palm Springs, was arrested shortly after 10:15 a.m. when deputies responded to reports of an intoxicated teacher at a school in the 86100 block of Avenue 66, the Sheriff’s Department said in a news release.
When I was in high school, a long time ago, I had a math teacher that was bombed, slurring and staggering around the blackboard by third period (around 10:00AM if I remember correctly) every day. He had a thermos bottle on his desk. He'd pour some of the contents into the cup accompanying the thermos at the start of each class. Don't know how he kept his job.
I have often wonder how school bus driver do it everyday.
ReplyDeletebooze or maybe pot has a great way to help get thru the day with the little bastards
Simply drunk? What a cultural throwback. Modern day teachers would be going the chemcal route to escape the little cellphone addicted brats..
