Damien Sanderson, 31, and Myles Sanderson, 30, were named as the suspects and are currently on the run following the violent attacks, according to Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
The stabbings took place in multiple locations on the James Smith Cree Nation and in the village of Weldon, northeast of Saskatoon, on Sunday, police said.
Were the shives full-auto, high capacity weapons of war by any chance?

DeleteKnives lead to swords.
ReplyDeleteThe 2 brothers are from that reservation. The village of weldon is the nearest town to the reservation and has a ferry crossing beside it.
ReplyDeleteOne Canadian source said they attacked the ferry pilot. The reservation is a small one so 10 dead is a huge % of the population.

Suppose they had become muslims?
ReplyDeleteNope. No knife control. There are better ways to solve the problem. People need knives to cur meat, bread and apples. Any good dictator prime minister will make meat, bread and apples illegal.
ReplyDeleteEngland's already banned sharp pointy things. Don't know if it's made any difference though seeing as you can sharpen any piece of metal on a sidewalk.
DeleteWirecutter, not quite the case. If the blade is sub 3-inch and not locking, you don't need to show a reason to carry it. If you can show good reason, you can carry a fixed or locking knife or a blade in excess of 3 inches.
DeleteClose enough, though. A good reason would be 'Because I cut shit with it.' I couldn't even begin to imagine having to explain to a cop or judge why I carry at least one knife on me at all times.
DeleteMy normal EDC is a multi-tool with 3 locking blades on my belt and a 3 1/2" switchblade in my front pocket. Haven't stabbed a single person all day, either.
Undoubtedly, they started with kindergarten round scissors.
ReplyDeleteMoved on to the harder stuff.
Actual thought that's been running through my head these past few days: "Thank God this wasn't some white dude with a long gun or we would have 8 hours of talk from our little bitch PM about guns and hate."
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing how silent almost every politician has been about this, over fears of saying something wrong about our latest indigenous killing spree.
