  5. Likely Phoenix, where that sort of things is acceptable

  6. Definitely NOT Chicago .. open carry in the whole state of IL is strictly verboten. Now, had the person in question been a dazzling young urbanite wearing dark pants and a dark hoodie .. well, then that would be a much different discussion.

  7. Nope, can't be any of the cities named, open carry is illegal there. More likely TX or AZ

  8. Or Oklahoma. We have Constitutional carry. See some of the convenience store clerks carry
    Backwoods Okie

  9. Not Atlanta as most fast food restaurant employees are chubby Hispanics or 200+ pound black women.

  12. Could also be North or South Carolina. Both of those states have open carry. Could be one of the municipalities which have a high melanin skin content population, such as Raleigh or Durham, NC or Columbia SC.

  13. Michigan is open carry. I am not sure if Detroit is an outlier or not, but I think that you can open carry there, as well.
The strange thing is, if you have a CCW permit, you can carry openly in a school, but if you don't, then you cannot carry in a school at all. I have read that it is the same for any place in Michigan that is a no carry place. I would not bet my freedom on it without checking on it. I do know that you can't carry if you have even the slightest amount of alcohol in your system. So while you can go to a restaurant that serves wine and beer with their meals, you can't touch a drop if you are carrying. That is actually not a bad practice, no matter what the law might say. In a shooting case, you don't want to have your lawyer defending anything extra, like an .02 BAC.
With the increase of assaults on fast food workers in the news, I don't blame anyone for carrying a gun at work. Here in Michigan, in a city close to me, Grand Rapids, an enraged male, who got the wrong drink, came behind the counter and beat up two high school workers. He broke one's jaw, and nearly scalped the other, leaving the one in the hospital with a serious concussion and in a partial coma. They are going to be alright, but it was all over a soda pop. I worked an after school job pumping gas, for nearly 2 years until I graduated, and I always told my boss, a female friend who graduated with my sister, that if robbed, I would give them all of my money, all of the person working with me their money, and took them into the back room and gave them all of the money in the cash box. Plus grabbed a bag and loaded it up with the cigarettes that we had in the whole place. After I filled their car up with gas, of course. It was a Mobil gas station, and they could eat the loss, not me. But to have someone assault me over a pepsi? I was a football player, and stayed in shape, and would have to take exception to the issue. That was then, and this is now. Now, you can't afford to get involved into any altercation like that, due to everyone carrying a gun, knife, brass knuckles, ice pick, etc. People are simply nuts now, so you have to be much smarter and learn to walk away when you can.
