The New York Times expects employees to start returning to the office three days a week starting this week — but more than 1,300 journalists are saying hell no, they won’t go.
It’s just the latest blow in the increasingly bitter contract dispute between the News Guild journalists union — which includes reporters and photographers, as well as some editors and business-side employees — and upper management, over wages.

It's the Times. No big loss to any of us.
I'd call that a good start.
ReplyDeletethey wont be missed. if i want lies and hypocrisy i will turn on the tv and get it real time.
ReplyDeleteI rode into town yesterday to get breakfast. After about four minutes I called the owner out, and asked him politely to either mute or turn off the two TVs spouting MSNBC propaganda. I like to eat in peace. Yes, he complied, and I was applauded. And yes, I was wearing my black MAGA cap.
DeleteI demand a fact check on this story. There are not 1300 journalists on the NYT. They would be lucky to find 13 of them, in the entire world wide organization.
ReplyDeleteOh well. The NYT stopped honest reporting some time in 1995, so let it burn already.
ReplyDeleteMaybe they could fire the Journalists and hire some actual REPORTERS. Reporters report news, Journalists spout their own opinions.
ReplyDeleteCapitol hill next?
