The Pentagon’s former defense secretaries and top generals warned Tuesday that political polarization and other societal strains are creating an “exceptionally challenging” environment for maintaining the traditional relationship between the military and civilian worlds.
Those are all the guys responsible for the shit-show we currently have in the military. You would think they would all slink away in shame, but no...

Not to mention incredible strain between the military and veterans. The number of veterans who I've heard say they would NOT encourage their kids to enlist today is astounding.
ReplyDeleteMark Milley infamously told China he'd disobey Trump if he ordered any action against China. Well, if "top generals" want to improve the relationship between the military and civilian worlds, how about one or two of them promising the American people that they would disobey any order from the Biden administration to use F-15's against the American people.
ReplyDeleteNot that I'd believe them, but at least it might take a talking point away from Old Joe.
I'm a vet, and told all my sons there was no way in hell any of them were going in; if drafted, its off to Canada.

ReplyDeleteI've seen what the military has become...fuck 'em.
ReplyDeleteI recently found out my family has a history of service dating back to the First Revolution. I and my two eldest sons have served... I have encouraged my youngest to stick with Call of Duty. Our service ends here and now, unless that is we have a Second Revolution! The VA is the enemy of the Vet and the military leadership is the enemy of the lower ranks.
ReplyDeleteThe commander-in-chief is completely inept.
ReplyDeleteMorale in every company sinks when management is mismanagement.
Same as the civilian-politician relations these days?
ReplyDeleteYou don't say!
