SACRAMENTO, Calif. —
A record heat wave put California in a fossil fuel conundrum: The state has had to rely more heavily on natural gas to produce electricity and avoid power outages while Gov. Gavin Newsom's administration moves toward ending the use of oil and gas.
Green idiocy is crashing into the buffers of reality all around the world. The world can't be run on fairy dust and unicorn farts, sane people always knew this, Gavin is only just finding out.
ReplyDeleteThis conundrum is what the democrats and greenies want for the entire USA and everywhere else they manage to ruin!
ReplyDeleteYeah; there's a natgas power plant near where I work that "mysteriously and quietly came back on line" this week. Normally the air is so dry here that you can't see the water vapor rising from the plant's cooling towers. The humidity was high this morning making those columns of vapor really easy to see. That plant had just been constructed when the previous nitwit, Brown, decided to shut it down. It's been cold ever since. All of a sudden though... I guess the lights must've flickered at Maxine Waters' mansion...
ReplyDeleteThe humidity decreases the water vapor plumes from cooling towers. Dry air makes them more visible. You had it backwards.
DeleteKeep suffering, California!
ReplyDeleteFamine, pestilence and war are coming to save you.
California???
ReplyDeleteWho GAF!
In the immortal words of Jimmy Buffett, "There's no vaccine for the dumbass virus".
ReplyDeleteA little late with this one, as we've been in the low 80's with cool nights for a few days.
ReplyDeleteSummer ain't over yet. Besides, there's always next year. Do you think it'll be any better by then?
DeleteSummer is effectively over. We'll see fire, we'll see rain, we'll see mudslides where you cannot find your friend, and we'll always hear the lamentations and bullshit from the MSM again.
ReplyDeleteCheers.
