Not surprising, kia and hyundai vehicles don't have immobilizer chips in the keys, it's as easy to hotwire a 22 kia as it is a 80s or 90s car easier even as they do not have steering locks. I put in 2-300 remote starts a year so am pretty familiar with vehicle electronics
I have a brand new 2022 Kia Rio 5 door Hatchback out in the driveway . They neglected the most important thing when they gave you tips to minimize theft . The two Rotts , two Shepherds , and the Great Pyrenees roaming the homestead . Not to mention the old man with the 00 buckshot in the 20 round drum , heh . I love a challenge .
