So GoFundMe doesn't take EBT cards?

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – One of the latest victims of Nashville’s violent crime surge is struggling to walk again after he was shot several times. Now, he’s frustrated with the case.

“I thought I was going to die before that night was over. I didn’t think I was going to make it this far,” said Andru while sitting in his hospital bed.

It’s the first time he was publicly spoken about being shot several times in August.

The reason for the caption is there's a link at the bottom of the article for a GoFundMe account that was started on August 25th with a goal of 20,000 bucks to help with medical bills. There were exactly 2 donations totaling a whopping $39, even after the link being posted at this news station's site.

Aaand I just checked it again and the fundraiser has been closed.

    I guess he's just not well liked in his 'hood.
    As to as his claim of 10 7.62x39 bullets still in him?
    How is he still alive and not dead from lead poisoning?
