A 'Feather Alert'? How racist is that?

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Gov. Gavin Newsom faced a midnight deadline Friday to pass or reject hundreds of proposals that the legislature sent to his desk this year. Here is a look at what will become state law.

AB 1314 establishes the “Feather Alert” for missing Native American people

*****

What's next, a Dot Alert for people from India? How about a Rice Alert for Asians? How about a Taco Alert for missing Mexicans?

Seriously though, this is coming from the State who fell all over themselves to rename sites that had the words 'Squaw' in them because it was 'insensitive' to our little red brothers and sisters.

  2. Many of what we call Indians today are mixed race and are gaming the Affirmative Action set asides system. They were primitives that lost to a superior people, I wonder how many centuries the reservation system will need to persist before "justice" is reached..... A reservation system that is to their detriment when assimilation would work better.

And supposedly today's NA is a descendant of the 3rd Bering land migration by DNA. What's never said is what happened to the (Asiatic) people from the other 2. Smells like genocide, maybe they were raping and pillaging conquerors and should be paying reparations.

    1. Before any of the 3 berring migrations there was the clovis people who started on the east coast and moved westward. Their genetics put them as from southern europe. I like to consider that europeans didn't steal NA from the natives we hust took it back after they wiped out our ancesters.

  3. In this week's news, while the U.S. Senate investigates the 'alarming' rise in foreign ownership of agricultural land, especially by the ChiComs, Gavin Newsom this week vetoed a bill that would prevent foreign buyers from purchasing agricultural land. He said he chose to veto the bill because he did not want the California Department of Food and Agriculture to be responsible for compiling information on foreign land owners.

This is the same guy that gave a billion dollars to a Chinese company that had previously made electric busses to make N95 masks on a no bid contract at the beginning of Covid.

I can't help but wonder if California's 'Big Guy' got 10% off the top.

    Newsom is a tool.

    1. I had to run that one through my verbalizer. "Watermelon alert." Phone alert would be "Camp Town Races." Doo-dah.

  10. To distinguish the “Feather Alert” from the regular alerts we get on our phones once in a while, instead of a blaring siren noise will it be a drumbeat and a Ghost Dance “hi-ya-hi-ya” kinda thing? Ugh the racism of the far left….
