No concert or studio videos, just sitting around drinking and playing for a small group in somebody's house.
I love this kid's music, everything from his fantastic guitar playing to his voice.
The Last Day At Gettysburg (4 minutes)
One Loaf of Bread (5:36 minutes)
Dig A Little Deeper In The Well (3:56 minutes)
he has some good music, what sold me was the song dust in a baggie.
ReplyDeleteThat was the first song of his that I heard too and was hooked.
DeleteAnd then there are his duets with Molly Tuttle.

I worked security at one of his shows. Billy was a very nice guy.
ReplyDeleteMy wife's nephew partied with him when he played locally a year or two ago and said the same thing. Very down to earth.
DeletePretty good flat pickin'.

Several cuts on that one - lasts an hour. Well worth watching if you've ever played guitar.
That young man is a National Treasure.
ReplyDeleteI remember, some years ago, seeing him in a similar video of him doing 'Dust in a Baggie'. He was just hanging out with friends, playing & having a good time; couldn't have been more than 16 or 17 then. It reminded me of myself and friends around that age.
ReplyDeleteKid's'll do that, anyway, but when you grow up within a quarter-tank of gas from Trashville, there's always at least one guitar around somewhere; with luck, there may be at least one person with some skill playing.
