JONESBOROUGH, Tenn. (WJHL) — People who were at the David Crockett Musket Bowl game spoke about witnessing the tragic skydiving accident that occurred at Friday night’s game.
Friday evening, a skydiver crashed during a pregame celebration for the matchup between rivals David Crockett and Daniel Boone high schools.
I guess he made the Final Down.
ReplyDeleteIt was determined that the accident's impact on the whole community would be minimized if the game would go on. What about the fucking impact on the skydiver?
ReplyDeleteAfter the accident they gave him a moment of silence.
DeleteJust to be pedantic - it was the turf which was impacted. The skydiver was splatted, along with some bystanders.
DeleteDammit. Turf impacted. Skydiver splatted. Bystanders splattered. Need more coffee.
DeleteThe person had "decades of experience to their credit". No wonder he crashed - he was too busy arguing with himself for either one of them to pay attention to the altimeter.
ReplyDeleteSafe and effective
ReplyDelete"They said he had completed over 1,500 jumps."
ReplyDeleteTechnically, he completed this one too.
Lmfao. Yes. Yes he did.
DeleteFrom what little I could see from the video, he looked pretty lifeless during the descent. I'm betting a vaxxx related event happened on the plane.
ReplyDeleteQuite seriously, how does a Life Insurance company feel about paying off on Sky-Divers?
ReplyDeleteit falls into the category of "Act of G-d"
DeleteJust like any other claim. You disclose any risky activities when signing up for the insurance and you pay a larger premium based on those activities. Insurance tables are set up so they win no matter the cause of death.

I hate getting hit by planets.....
ReplyDeleteLooked like he was coming in too fast. On first look, the canopy looked ok.
ReplyDeleteI hate to repeat an old trope, but why jump out of a perfectly good airplane? I does suck, but it's hard to feel bad for someone that does that shit.
ReplyDeletethe too obvious call here is,,, First down.
