"In hindsight, we should've closed the restaurant when we discovered the corpse"

LARGO, Md. — A Maryland restaurant remained open and continued serving customers on Wednesday after a female customer died of cardiac arrest in the restroom. On Friday, the restaurant’s owner said he is not sure whether it was the right decision.

  1. Hey, people gotta eat. I just wonder what happened to all those women like my wife who just have to go to the bathroom before they head home.

  3. Had they announced to the customers that there was a dead woman in the bathroom how many would have run to the bathroom to get pictures on their cell phones? Not only exhibiting subhuman behavior but getting in the way of emergency mediacl personal. Then the family would be saying they did nothing to protect the dignity of the poor woman. I think they did the right thing. They contained the area, called for assistance, protected the womans dignity in death and maintained control of the environment.

  5. After the vaccine gets rolling, the cities will have a cart they roll down the road with the driver shouting "BRING OUT YOUR DEAD". At that point the lady would be carried out of the bathroom.

  7. A place where the food is so great, customers are just dying to dine there. And I have to concur with Bright Eyes. Low down, tactless shit heads would've been checking out the ladies room just to get pictures if it had been announced there was a stiff in the john. No reason to make a spectacle of it.
