I think everyone with kids should be homeschooling. EVEN if they have to lower their standard of living radically. If they truly can't lower it any further, there should be other homeschooling parents nearby who will take their kids in exchange for babysitting or even laundry, whatever, or just flat out for free in order to help their neighbors get ahead.
I really think that. I'm serious. WHAT is wrong with everyone?
Completely agree. A neighborhood or region taking action will make a world of difference; removing the outside influences alone will reap tons of rewards.
I’m generally for public schools, but they have to stick to the state syllabi for each course and the curriculum has to be geared towards a state approved diploma. But, if the coursework deviates from the syllabus and gets into gay this, and freak show that, the parents must mobilize together to have the Board fire the SJW teacher and/or the principal who allowed this BS. Home schooling would be great if the parents were able to get the required books, and were able to teach the subject as well as a licensed teacher, or switch off with other parents who are better versed in their respective subjects.
I think this is a relatively recent development. My mother gave me a package that had my first grade report cards in it; they were from a time when the six week periods included hand written notes penned by the teacher, herself. The first six week report included a statement that I did not play well with other students, yet excelled at math and science. Sort of the story of my life from that point on.
I shudder to think that I likely would have been medicated into a compliant ball of dough if the current regimen had been in place.

100% agree. Our public schools are a disgrace.

ReplyDeleteGreat presentation! Applicable in many ways to girls as well. Home School keeps the light in their eyes. MH
