Never been, never plan to, avoid like the plague. Always figured it was a fufu euro store. They have a distribution center near me, I laugh every time I think of their I'll Die name...
They have some pretty good quality stuff at decent prices. Bring your own bags or grab a few boxes off of the shelf. The only thing is they don’t have drug store stuff or household cleaning supplies. Buddha
They have lots of German food items under their Deutsche Küche brand. Their brats are pretty good and they have things like spätzle and seasonal stuff like stöllen. Basically, a German Sav-a-lot.
We've got an Aldi not far from us. The prices are decent, but the selection is limited. And, as mentioned above, it's really awkward having to buy your bags. Not to mention that if you want a cart, you have to drop a quarter into the cart thingy.
I think it's just something folks need to get used to.
I'll never go to Aldi again after realizing they make you pay for your bags.
ReplyDeleteI'll Die before I go into AlDi

I've never even seen one.
DeleteNot a fufu euro store. A relatively discounted price European-based grocery store. It's good for some stuff.
