To be able to eat, to move about, to have shelter, to be free from state or tribal coercion, to be secure abroad, and safe at home - only that allows cultures to be freed from the daily drudgery of mere survival.
Not unexpectedly, VDH knocks it out of the park. I first began having thoughts about the gaping holes being ripped into the Thin Veil Of Civility while I worked at a gun shop in 2008. What kept me sane about it is the fact that all one can really do is keep one’s own porch swept of it all. Thanks to 2A, it’s doable should the necessity arise.
