Tulsi Gabbard quits the Democrat Party

Former congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard announced Tuesday morning she is leaving the Democratic Party in a series of tweets criticizing their 'cowardly wokeness' and accusing them of 'stoking anti-white racism'.

The ex-representative for Hawaii's 2nd district and United States Army Reserve officer accused the party of 'demonizing the police', 'protecting criminals', 'believing in open borders' and 'dragging us even closer to nuclear war'.

She also urged those who agreed with her to leave with just a month until the crucial midterm elections in a video attacking the institution whose members she clams 'actively work to undermine our God-given freedoms'.

*****

Yeah. Until now, she was one of those that was working to undermine our God-given freedoms with her support of Red Flag laws and the banning of our multi-purpose rifles.

Sorry, I'm not buying this. I think she saw the way the tide is flowing and decided to go with it to further her political career.

  1. Tulsi claims the Democrat Party has turned onto an "elitist cabal". Breaking news honey, they were already an elitist cabal when you hitched your wagon to them.

  5. Must not be paying her dues to win by election fraud. Dominion might be asking for a larger cut. So now she has to switch sides because a democrat will lose without it.

  6. You know in my opinion Tulsi is a throwback to the older democrat party. She is still wrong, but I do not believe she is evil.

  7. She is a good fit in the Uniparty.
    Democrats, Republicans, whatever.

  12. I actually have just looked into her record, from both today and from her 2020 presidential run, and before. And while her positions have not changed, some of them are not bad, while some of them are pure Democrat.
The troubling ones are on guns, abortion, free college education, not just for community college, which might be worth looking into, if it also included trade schools, but also for a 4 year college for families making less than 125 K.
While she was for a DACA path to citizenship, she also endorsed strong borders, including building a wall, where needed, but mostly using technology where appropriate. And the 4th amendment was one of her very strong points, she worked in congress with other people from both sides to stop the abuses we have seen, especially in the last few years with illegal warrants.
I certainly can't find that she is anything close to being a conservative, but I understand her leaving the Democrat party. Or like many of the people like my parents would say, if they were still alive, the Democrat party left them. A UAW member for life, my dad voted Democrat every election. But the Democrat party he voted for was the party of JFK, the party that had room for MLK, and concern for families and character, and removing roadblocks for people to make their own way, not the party of holding others down so that they could win at the expense of others.

    1. MLK was a proven plagiarist, like Joe, a serial adulterer like every male Kennedy, a whoremonger like Hunter, and a woman beater, like Warnock. In other words, a Democrat.

  13. She's a self avowed marxist. I seriously doubt this is anything more than a publicity stunt to get her show on the road.

  14. Gun control is her big weakness. Everything else she's been consistently good on, since at least 2016 when I first became aware of her views. But yeah, she really sucks on gun control. I think it's a hereditary failure of most women to value safety and security too much.

  15. Everything a politician says is directed at their best chance for getting [re]elected so they can get or stay on the gravy train. She bought into the anti-Trump strategy, now not so much. I think she's for open borders too but that wouldn't change my mind if I'm wrong.

  16. I will note she was the only one on the Democrat debate stage with the balls to call Kamala Harris on her truly sorry record.

I wouldn't vote for her as her beliefs sit, but she's good on some things.

  18. I hope this doesn't become a trend. Since I am a RINO (really a conservative but there is no conservative party in this country), Republican is the only party that I can vote for that is NOT a Democrat. With a lot of people switching away from D, will they bring their uber-liberal views to the R side now?

  19. I completely agree. She was all for UBI and gun laws. No thank you. Once a traitor, always a traitor.

  20. I don’t think it’s fair to call her an opportunist or be too harsh on her. There are A LOT of things I disagree with her on, gun issues being a very big one, but I give credit where it is due for consistency. She doesn’t change her stances based on political wind shifts and has remained consistent since she first came on the national stage. I dont think she is evil. I respect anyone who stays consistent through all of this. She definitely has not taken the easy path, and does say more that I do agree with than many so called republicans.

She’s never seen a gun law she didn’t like…except that one that says we can own them.
      She really HATES that one.

  21. My two cents: I predicted this a long time ago, probably around the time she chopped up Kameltoe Harris on the debate stage. Second: have you seen her in a bikini? Smokin'.

  25. She is in politics, so politics rule her decision. She is an opportunist, anything to stay in the game of power and money. She needs the MOBARK just like so many of them. FFF/22BOH. Oh and fuck joe biden

  26. The bad thing about Tulsi is that she's an utopian. She thinks nobody needs a gun because we can all just kumbaya and have a luau together. How she can be so ignorant of the dire need to protect ourselves from the horribly evil elements in human society completely befuddles me. Especially with having served in the military, she should know better. Maybe give her a 2 week vacation in Chicago, and see if she wakes up. The protected class never do seem to really see (or care about) the struggles of the working class. About the time the gated communities are breached they may wake up, but by then the anarchy will be so far advanced that it will be too late to do anything about it except participate, or get steamrolled under.

She's got a lot of proving to do before I even think about tossing her one bit of support. I mean, it's not like a politician has ever lied before to get votes, right?
