Which states are voting on abortion rights this election?
The Supreme Court's June ruling that overturned Roe v. Wade and left the question of abortion rights up to the states has produced ballot questions in a handful of states this fall.
Three states are asking voters some variation of whether they want to establish a right to abortion, while a single state is asking if its constitution should be changed to say there is no such right to abortion or for government funding.
It amazes me that this is even a question. It is murder. A woman does have the right to do with her body as she wishes, except the fetus is not her body - not even her DNA. But if they do have that right, why are women prosecuted for child abuse when they take drugs while pregnant and causing fetal harm? Why is it a double homicide when a pregnant woman is killed? I know that no minds will be changed no matter what argument is presented; people will believe what benefits themselves only.
Abortion is nothing more than contraception for the low I.Q. lazy assholes and it equates to murder, but the progressives have turned it into an ideological club to beat people up with. Why not free hysterectomies or tubal ligations for any babe who requests one.
Here in Michigan, it is a very contentious issue. With it being down the list of important items to voters, one would think that during the 2 debates, the governor candidates would first get hit with questions about the economy in Michigan. Or even crime, or the piss poor education system that the Empress of Lansing has presided over. One would think wrong, in such an instance. Being run by our liberal media, both of the debates by the 2 candidates for governor started out with an extensive length of questioning about abortion. What a surprise. I have been arguing with my sister on FB about abortion. I have been trying to at least educate her as to what our prop 3 will permit, which is basically everything, with no restrictions, and no parental permission required for abortion of minor children. I explained that in the entire U.S., a minor is not even legally allowed to get a tattoo without parental permission, based upon not being able to enter into a contract. She is not aware that I know that she had an abortion when I was about 13 years old. I don't want to tell a woman what she can do with her body, I just don't like the idea of killing a child. My sister went so far as to say that a 16 or 17 year old girl didn't have the mental or physical or emotional ability to take care of or give birth a child. I jumped on her, because my 42 year old daughter who has my 9 year old grandson was born of my 16 year old ex wife. We went on to have 2 more children over our marriage of 11 years. I have 3 biological kids that are fantastic adults, and could not be prouder of how they have grown up. I jumped all over her, without mentioning my ex, but she denied saying that 16 year old females should not have babies. I will only say that my sister is a POS, who took advantage of my parents.
