Who doesn't love Glory Hole?

Yes, that's really a place. That's going into Angels Camp, California and Glory Hole is a boat launch area on New Melones, named after a common term meaning a rich pocket of gold.

  1. And quite possibly the most gawd awful long walk from the launch to the truck. /sigh/

  2. Very close to the Morgan Mine near Carson Hill, where a 195 pound troy block of gold was found.

    1. There's a rock quarry at the mine site now. I've always wondered how much gold they crushed up making gravel seeing as that area is famous for pocket gold.

    3. They had a flood in Sonora after a gully washer quite a few years back and traffic got backed up because all the locals were panning the potholes.

  5. Glory hole:
I 40 somewhere east of Flagstaff, middle of the night. Pulled into a rest area.
Finished my cup of coffee and walked over to the toilets.
While standing at the pisser, I glanced over and noticed a hole in the adjacent stall.
    With an eyeball peeking out.

    Fucking degenerates.
