ISANTI TOWNSHIP, Minn. (FOX 9) - Authorities arrested a 45-year-old burglary suspect after following his fresh footprints in the snow, a news release says.
Not long after moving from my farm to town, I followed footprints in the snow of somebody who broke into my car the day after Christmas. The kids were able to identify the treads as brand new Nike whatevers. They were enormous, and you could tell that he didnt bother tying the laces or whatever from the way he dragged the heels. I followed them to every car parked in our neighborhood, and then to the end of the cul de sac, where the guy hopped the fence and the tracks disappeared on a plowed road. The police were uninterested. We learned to lock our doors.

ReplyDeleteSounds to me like he just opened the door. How does that qualify as a break-in?
