Ashton was the principal of Northwood Elementary School for 17 years. He was convicted on 46 of the 50 counts against him and is awaiting a sentence in November.
The three-week trial raised concerns over whether staff members may have suspected Ashton's abuse but failed to report it. Teachers and school employees are mandated reporters and are required by law to report suspicions of child abuse.

ReplyDeleteHang the pedo... let the locals tow his carcass behind their snowmobiles this season.
Castration first-with a dull hedge clipper. Next, parents get baseball bats.
ReplyDeleteThe reason they failed to report is "afraid I would lose my job". The number one reason that people look the other way when those that have authority over them are committing crimes.
ReplyDeleteReason #2 they failed to report is "I've been doing the same shit"...

If the assistant principal was found hanging from a lampost outside the district office, I bet you'ld see a wave of resignations.
ReplyDeleteHow is this guy still alive? I'd like to believe that I'd make this guy die a slow and painful death if it were one of my kids. I guess it's easier to say than to do though...
ReplyDeleteThis pos isn't dead yet? Them locals are slacking.
ReplyDeleteWait until he's sentenced and shows up at the slammer. The inmates will "correct" the problem.
DeleteThat whole school had to know what was going on. Fire every single teacher and administrator and supervisor in the county. EVERY ONE
