Pelosi, 82, who has served in Congress since 1987 and on two occasions as speaker, is currently helping her husband recover from a home invasion and attack last week while trying to help her party avoid devastating in Tuesday's midterm elections.
One of the people who could be running for the seat is Pelosi's daughter, Christine, a Democratic activist who has served as a proxy for her politician mother, if her seat were to open.
Mail in voting. Whoever the democrat politicians decide will be next.
ReplyDeleteImagine being an 82yo woman, looks long gone, mind slipping away, dementia creeping up, a once powerful yet spiteful leader of the HoR of the USA, only to be remembered for the antics of your alcoholic, gay husband. Then have the policies you and your party pushed utterly rejected by the majority of American leading the a rout of said party in a mid-term election. On top of that, you have to fly, across the country, to stand by your man and nurse him back to health while living in the same home with him. The house is quiet, you have to look at this guy who has rejected your old scrawny butt, knowing he just put the last nail in your political coffin. And now the world knows that even your husband turned from you to other men of a certain persuasion. I suppose you could pop open another bottle of wine to go with your ice cream. It's gotta be a fun time in the Pelosi house these days. Enjoy your the time remaining to you on this earth. You deserve all of the humiliation and disgust a grateful nation can heap upon you. May you have a long and mentally clear life, enough time for you to come to the realization of what you have done to this country.
