Veterans Day - November 11th - Honoring All Who Served

 The history and importance of Veterans Day — a federal holiday in the United States observed annually on November 11th, and this day gives all Americans the opportunity to celebrate the bravery, service and sacrifice of all U.S. Veterans – living and deceased.

  1. I watched the new version of All Quiet on the Western Front last night. Good movie but all subtitles
    I read the book as a kid -a LONG time ago. So I don’t know if they were true to the story or not but still a good watch

    1. It’s a German movie adapted from a German book by a German author. It should be in German, not English.

  4. Lead a flag ceremony this morning at my RV park. (Kenny, I will send you the program), we then were hosted to a breakfast by the park management, vets and spouses. Over 50 attended representing all the service branches and one allied service member from Canada.

  5. Today, 11/11 @ 11am I was at the dermatologist's getting a chunk taken out of my back. Still, I made him and his nurse salute with me on the minute. --nines
