ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. – A 41-year-old Altamonte Springs man was arrested in October after he pistol-whipped and shot a PlayStation 4 video game console during an argument with his stepson, according to the police department.
<> << charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill,>> That's what it was. If he had never pointed the gun at the kid, or if he had used a hammer on the PS4, he wouldn't be facing charges. Just pointing a gun at someone without being able to claim self defense is a charge of AA/DW here. Whether the guy intended to threaten his son or not, pointing the gun, even accidentally, at the son creates the charge. He would've been better off getting a hammer.
trying to figure out how this is illegal. Are PlayStations sentient and now have rights?
