Your Wednesday Morning Florida Report

In the long list of homeowner association horror stories, the one emerging from the Hammocks Community Association in Miami’s West Kendall suburbs is in a (criminal) class by itself.

  1. Not surprised one bit. And more than likely not the only one at this level.

  2. A 100% guaranteed way to avoid Neo-Nazi homeowners association horror is to avoid buying a house that is governed by a Neo-Nazi homeowners association.

    1. Yeah, I have a hard time feeling sorry for the fools.

    2. Agreed, problem is cities don't want to do code enforcement so for any new developments they require an HOA to get permitted. Big freezing scam. Very difficult to find a non HOA property and your going to pay or live in the getto.

  3. Politics is Hollywood for ugly people. HOAs are politics for wannabes.

  4. I've been by that subdivision many times. It is huge. Between the Turnpike and the Homestead Highway. Never would've suspected there was so much going on behind those innocuous walls.

  5. Usual stuff from HOA haters. Get on the board, find out how things work, remove the criminals. See?

    1. You must be retarded, the article clearly stated they refused to have a meeting for over 4 years and thwarted the elections with a bomb threat then threw out all the votes when one finally happened.

    2. When they stop meetings in public is when to do a recall, not 4 years later. You can do a bomb scare once and maybe get away with it, but I doubt it in this age of government surveillance.
