I'm a Live and Let Live kind of guy. I don't care one bit about your sexuality, but don't shove it in my face and demand that I embrace it. Shit, I don't want anything shoved in my face, sexual or not.
They went way over the line though when they involved the kids, especially grade school age or younger. It is not their place to teach our kids about sexuality, gay or straight - that's the parent's responsibility, not theirs. Period.
It’s the narrative. It will be used to indoctrinate kids, take away your guns, restrict your religion, restrict your liberty and freedoms. I read 1984 in high school for the first time and two or three times since. I thought it could never happen here.

Do you really think 2%? I'll bet it's a lot less than that. Though I did read recently that 40% of the students at some liberal college thought that they were gay or tranny or some Looney tunes shit. They will not stop, they will never (voluntarily) shut up.
ReplyDeleteI don't know what the percentage is and I don't think anybody else does either. I used the 2% because that's what I heard it was years ago before being gay became a fad. I do think 2% is in the ball park, though.

DeleteI have no problem with them having a gay pride parade, either. I DO have a problem with them having a parade with explicit displays of sexual perversions where minors can see it. It is no different than if heterosexuals did the same thing in front of minor children. I would be pretty pissed at that, also.
ReplyDeleteThe gays took their time, to gain acceptance. The LGBTQ+ bunch is not taking the same route, but is pushing fast and forcing acceptance, but they have both the liberal left and the media helping them. I have no problem if some adult wants to identify as any gender, or as a doorknob. I do have a problem if they want to force children to consider the same thing.
My wife and I adopted 2 girls, at age 3 and 6. When they were going to school, the younger one just could not make it, so we home schooled her. She turned out to be brilliant, just socially inept. The older one was sort of the opposite. She did graduate, but as she got older, she fell in with a bunch of girls who acted the gay/straight thing. Not really thinking that she was serious, we didn't try and interfere, and eventually she got over that. But when she graduated, we found out that she had been in touch with her biological brother, who was living with his biological family in of all places, Oklahoma. She decided to move there. And that is where she stayed for a long time. Then she said that she was going to be a travelling medical assistant. We have no idea where she is now. My wife used to email her on occasion, me never. I said, she is allowed to come home once. She is still my daughter, but sometimes you have to pay for the mistakes you make.
