COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) — The first openly transgender woman set to be executed in the U.S. is asking Missouri’s governor for mercy, citing mental health issues.
Lawyers for Amber McLaughlin, now 49, on Monday asked Republican Gov. Mike Parson to spare her.
"“It is extremely unusual for a woman to commit a capital offense, such as a brutal murder, and even more unusual for a women to, as was the case with McLaughlin, rape and murder a woman,” Pojmann said."
And, apparently, it's going to remain that way. Ain't no woman in this story, and I think the rape charge makes that rather clear.
My schenfreude wish is: I hope, as the needle is inserted in the Tranny's vein and the plunger is slowly pushed, the "exicutioner" says "Take it like a man".
He can't possibly have mental health issues because embracing one's transgender self is the magical rainbow cure for all mental illnesses, self-doubt, and social insecurity. All better now! Bonus points for clinging to his female identity while using his penis as a tool of violent rape, and triple bonus points for asking for mercy as a woman, because the State is loathe to execute women. If Parsons stays this execution he will be opening the door to every person convicted to transition so they can get off without finishing out their sentence.
If the transgender community wants “equal rights” it starts right now!
And I’m appalled that “we the tax payers” have had to pay for this asshole to transition while in state custody.
