McDonald's - The Waffle House of the West

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A husband and wife were carjacked outside a Sacramento McDonald's on Friday, the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office said.

The couple had left the fast food restaurant near Stockton Boulevard and Florin Road Friday night when they were approached by two men, the sheriff's office said. A spokesperson said at least one of them had a gun.

I rarely go out, but if this story were about me and my family, it would have read "A spokesperson said at least one of the criminals had a gun, but the entire family had at least one gun on each of them as well."

Just bought my 17 year old his first Springfield 9mm. Of course Washington State says he's not allowed to defend himself until he's 21...but fuck the state.

  2. As a kid I lived in the area during the late 60's and 70's. They had built Florin Mall there in the late 60's. The mall faded and was torn down in the early 2000's. They built what they now call the Florin Towne shopping center with a Walmart as the anchor store. I went in the new Walmart to see what they had. There were no guns in the sporting goods section only ammo and BB guns. I asked the clerk why no guns. He said the city of Sacramento required them to not sell guns as a condition of getting permits. After picking up a few items I headed to the check out. Looking around, I noticed that I was the only white male out of the 50 or 60 people there. The only white females were working the registers. A very diverse population.
