So where exactly does one purchase this tree?

The Manchineel tree, also known as the Poison Apple Tree, doesn't look dangerous at first glance — in fact, some may be tempted to pick fruit and indulge themselves. This unsuspecting tree is considered the most dangerous tree in the world according to the Guinness World Records.

Yep, it kills you dead and you no longer have VD.
Oh, and when it kills you, you empty your bladder and bowels, hence the diuretic effect.

  2. Incidently, falling from the top of an 80 foot Pine will kill you just as dead.

Unfortunately (or fortunately if you are a spoil sport) they don't have a gift shop. Miserable buggers!

  4. Known as "Manzanillo" in Panama, where I grew up (Panama Canal Zone). Apparently a lot of the early Spanish colonizers found out about it the hard way.

  5. Ran into trouble with a “ Manzanilla dela morta” down in Puerto Rico about ten years ago. Team dropped off by boat about daylight. Walked under the tree around 7 am and spent the rest of the day eyes watering and nose running. I was the safety so if I left, the team would have to shut down and leave with me. What a fucking miserable day. The natives used to tie their enemies to them. Day or two and no more enemy. Eod1sg Ret
