With friends like these...

  1. he should be glad he wasn't shot by the home owner. don't have a lot of dumb shit like that
around here. too many homes with guns and dogs. chances are if the dog is going nuts, the homeowner will be coming out with a weapon in hand. at least that is what I seen around here
happen. kind of funny when it happens to the old couple down the road, he comes out with his Browning trap gun when his toy whatever it is goes off barking like mad.
nice guy, he just happens to own shotguns that cost more than my truck did.
he also reloads too, like a couple of thousand rounds a year for his hobby
and he is a great shot too. way better than me with a shotgun !

  2. There's a lot... A LOT of rural properties protected by 'F#&¢ Around & Find Out' security systems. It's a great security system. Usually non dependent on grid power, provides exceptional long term results, functions seamlessly with various changes in caliber and pairs well with the 'Shoot, Shovel & Shutup Cleanup Program'. All things considered, it's a great security and cleanup system.

  3. I just put aftermarket catalytic converters on my truck after waiting 3 months for factory units to arrive. There's a good chance they'll start causing Check Engine Light problems, but I didn't want the truck sitting all winter without running. Still no word on when the factory units might arrive, the average wait is 8 months and that's increasing. The total expense will easily exceed 8 grand in direct and related expenses. It warms my heart every time I hear of some thieving tweaker meeting his well warranted demise while stealing converters.

    1. This is exactly why the phrase "killed while stealing (fill in the blank)" always makes me smile.
