A fit of road rage took an unexpected turn in Florida after the angry driver realized that he fired his gun at a passing sheriff’s deputy, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.

US LEO are members of the privileged class that are above the law. Their private vehicles should be marked because they can pretty much do whatever they like, unlike the peasantry. I just yesterday followed a Sheriff's vehicle from the adjacent state while he sped at 10-15 mph over the limit for >20 miles. Members of criminal gangs will always protect each other.
