SHELBY, N.C. - A North Carolina woman is on a lucky streak after winning millions of dollars in two different lottery prizes.
Kenya Sloan of Shelby recently won $2 million from a $20 scratch-off. Her win came months after she won a $1 million lottery prize.
High probability that she will be broke within one year. Pretty good chance she'll have acquired new debt in that same time.
ReplyDeleteShe'll have a fire sale to sell off posessions at steep discount in order to service that debt and even put food on her table.
But she'll continue playing the lottery hoping to one day win big.
This is all from data gotten about past lottery winners.
Especially those named Kenya and similar obvious names.
DeleteI've never bought a scratch off in my life. I couldn't imagine plopping down $20 in voluntary taxes.
ReplyDeleteAdmittedly, I buy a Powerball or Mega ticket once in a while when buying smokes. Maybe I should change my tactics.
If you don't play, you'll never win. But if you do play, odds are millions to one that you lose.
