Give the kid a pass
CAMP VERDE, AZ (3TV/CBS 5) - The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office says a teenager has turned himself in after admitting he killed a man trying to “get with his 14-year-old sister.” YCSO says a 16-year-old boy showed up at a sub-station on Monday, saying he wanted to turn himself in for “killing a man.” Detectives say the teen admitted he shot a 62-year-old man in a remote area of Camp Verde on Nov. 28. Detectives later found the unidentified man in the desert in the southern part of town.

If his story is true, sounds like justifiable homicide to me.
ReplyDeleteIf his story it really true, yes. He deserves a pass.
ReplyDeleteInnocent until proven guilty. But that’s not always how the “just us” system works.
So says the MSM about Bryan Kohberger
DeleteOne big question needs to be answered: "was the pervert a democrat". If so, lock the kid up because the pervert is entitled to do whatever he wants.
ReplyDeleteShoot, shovel, shut up.
ReplyDeleteIndeed. Too bad the kid is too young to have been taught that little life lesson.
DeleteHe's 16. That's pretty young to try to process the burden of having killed a human. Then to cover it up, hoping to never be discovered. That is unconscionable.
DeleteThe double guilt would gnaw at him. The best solution is to turn himself in and relieve himself of the guilt.
A friend turned himself in after twenty-three years of getting away with murder. I mean, he got away clean, never a suspect. But his conscience, every day was another day deeper into that sorrowful state.
He said it was like the dark clouds parted and the sun came bursting in; it was one of the happiest days of his life whwn he turned himself in. He got 19 years prison but reduced to 5 years + probation.
He lost his successful business and his fiance plus more. But it was worth it, said he.
His problem is going to be that he planned it out in advance and not a heat of the moment sort of thing. Like said above the three S’s should have been done.

So, just take the kids word and that's it?
ReplyDeleteI suspect there might be more to this story.
I hope the kids gets a brave attorney because this sounds like a great case for jury nullification. Get an enlargement of a photo of both his sister and the old guy and place them right in front of the jury.
ReplyDeleteAt first, I was all in for the kid. As I read more, I'm not so sure.
ReplyDeleteAs I keep saying over and over: Just because someone says it, doesn't make it true.
