IHOP? Was there not a Waffle House close by?

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A family is pleading for answers after a weekend shooting in South Nashville reportedly sent their teenage relative to the hospital, where he is not expected to survive. 

According to the Metro Nashville Police Department, a shooting was reported shortly after 12:45 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 7 at the IHOP in the 4000 block of Nolensville Pike, leaving one person critically injured.

  1. 16 years old...out fucking around at 12:45am...giving a friend a ride home but wasn't with his friend or at his friend's home...loaded pistol on the floor of HIS car...not really seeing a downside, but of course he's blameless in this tragic (for one or two people) event. Just think how bad it could have been had he not been in the middle of turning his life around.

  4. I've lived in southern Middle Tennessee since 1966. Memphis has always been a crime ridden shit hole, but I can't believe how much Nashville has turned into one. I'm sure it has nothing to do with the political affiliation of the mayor.
