Only the good die young

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — Spike, a chihuahua mix from Camden, Ohio, is the oldest living dog, according to Guinness World Records.

As of Dec. 7, 2022, Spike was 23 years and 43 days old. He stands nine inches tall and weighs 12.9 pounds.

I'm not quite sure how they can determine the age, right down to the day, of an adult dog they found in a parking lot 13 years ago, but okaaay.....

  6. Yeah, I would hope that Guinness would be more exacting than that. Oldest dog ain't horseshoes or hand grenades. This is serious stuff!
