If he hasn't learned his lesson by now and they obviously aren't interested in punishing him and keeping the public safe by tossing his little ass in jail, just be done with it and put a bullet in his melon. Dead criminals tend not to re-offend.
I had a cousin who worked our local ER as a nurse, while I played high school football. I had at least 5 or 6 concussions that required me to go there after the games, and she worked the shift when I would be there. She joked that they had paperwork ready and waiting for my weekly visit on Friday nights. I think that it is the same thing with this idiot. The paperwork must be sitting there all filled out, just waiting for the date to be filled in. One would think that the judges would at some point get tired of seeing the same person over and over again, and put them in jail for at least a couple of months to give the cops and the citizens a break.
I've dated some "damaged" women in my life. I've heard many stories about their exes getting beat half to death by the police over stuff like robberies, because it's a quicker and better deterrent than catch and release. Seems they're forgetting the basics in California.
1st conviction, 60 days in jail, and they have to repay double the amount stolen. 2nd conviction, public flogging and they have to repay seven times the amount stolen. 3rd conviction, hang 'em.

Yep. Needs a 9 ounce solution here. Refuses to learn.
ReplyDeleteHe was heard muttering: “Success is not final, failure is not fatal: It is the courage to continue that counts.”
