The Biden Administration Finally Admits Its Mistake in Canceling the Keystone XL Pipeline

At long last, the Biden administration is admitting what experts have always known: reckless energy policies have disastrous consequences. This time, the Department of Energy quietly released a report highlighting the positive economic benefits of developing the Keystone XL pipeline from Canada, an energy project canceled by President Biden in the hours following his inauguration.

  2. It was a felonous "mistake" in the 2020 election too. But it's doubtful either will be corrected.

  5. The keystone Pipeline was canceled, because Warren Buffett owns so much railroad that hauls oil. There was no way he would sit by idly and watch a pipeline replace thousands and thousands of oil cars on the railroad every day. When Warren Buffett wants something the Democrats listen.

    1. The funny thing is the payoff to the big guy was a pittance compared to the wealth produced for Buffett by shutting down Keystone...

  7. The chickens are coming back home to roost now. Having drained the SPR to keep gas prices down to win, or at least mitigate the damage in the last election, Biteme now finds himself out of options to slow the catastrophic rise in fuel and other energy prices that's now beginning. By the time November 2024 rolls around the Watermelons are going to be so reviled that we'll get the red tide we need.

  9. His cancelation of the pipeline was not something that a President can legally do. Executive orders can only be used as orders to government employees and agencies. Executive orders to private business can and should be ignored.
