No doubt. Ya know I would love to die doing what I love. Working around the farm, sitting on the porch enjoying the beauty maybe reading a book. I guess most today love looking a phone. That's about all I see people doing nowadays. At least she went doing what she loved completely and totally oblivious to the wonderful world around her.
If you're operating construction equipment around the general public, it's on you. The average person has no idea what it means to be on a construction site. Most normies assume if they can get close to it it must be safe. If you work construction, as I have, and don't know this you're brain dead. Not saying it's excuseable. Just that it's a fact.
The crack whore comment above is totally uncalled-for. WTF, dude?
The driver ought to be watching out for "civilians". OTOH, often the load on a forklift is blocking the view ahead. Stay aware of what's around you, because the other guy might not be watching, or might not be able to see you.
